Summary
'Bute' shaped tea cup and saucer, white bone china with severe yellow staining, and finely crazed glaze. Cup has inverted foot and small loop handle with inner spur above lower terminal. Decorated on side opposite handle with stylised floral spray, comprising large flowerhead in red enamel with a figure of eight motif at it's centre, with metallic silver lustre stem and leaves, flanked by two simple five-petalled flowers in red and silver. Two small silver and red sprigs either side of handle. Simple border of alternating silver diamonds and red ovals on interior, just beneath silver-edged rim. One cup has silver detail to handle, the other plain. Deep saucer with curved sides and tapered footring, decorated in well with same floral spray and diamond and oval border beneath silver edged rim. Pair.
