Summary

Etui of flattened oval section tapered towards the bottom with a deep hinged lid in an ornamental metal mount with chased metal mounts to the top and bottom; no implements remain. Enamelled on metal and painted in colours with four panels of pastoral scenes depicting figures with sheep and cattle, two larger ones on the body and two smaller ones on the lid, also a panel of a spray of flowers on the top. All panels are within scroll borders of raised white enamel on a turquoise-green ground decorated with stars and scrolls in raised white enamel.
