Summary

A cylindrical scent case with a rounded screw top lid in a plain metal mount; the bottom of the case is fitted with a tape measure with metal mounts to each end, a metal crank handle on the end to wind the tape back and containing a fabric tape with a metal device on the end; the scent case contains a glass bottle with a glass stopper. Enamelled on metal and painted in colours with sprays of flowers in raised enamel and sprays of flowers and dots in gold direct on a pink ground; the bottom of the tape measure is painted with fine wavy lines in brown on a white ground.
