Summary

Public: A cylindrical case widening slightly at the top with a screw top lid in the form of a flower bud within a plain metal mount; the bottom of the case is fitted with a tape measure joined by a plain metal mount with a metal crank handle. Enamelled on metal and painted in colours with sprays of flowers on a light green ground decorated with scrolls in gold; the lid is painted as petals in orange-brown, yellow and blue lines. Private: A cylindrical case widening slightly at the top with a screw top lid in the form of a flower bud within a plain metal mount; the bottom of the case is fitted with a tape measure joined by a plain metal mount with a metal crank handle on the bottom; inside the scent case is fitted with the neck of a bottle in enamel. Enamel on metal and painted in colours with sprays of flowers in raised enamel on a light green ground decorated with scrolls in gold. The lid is painted in orange, yellow and blue lines to resemble petals with the inside being orange brown, the top of the scent case as it widens is also painted in these orange, yellow and blue lines.
