Summary

A tall oval box with tapering sides and a hinged lid within a chased metal mount with a scalloped handle. Enamel on metal and painted in colours over prints with five panels of classical landscapes, one on the lid and four round the sides, depicting lake scenes with castles or towers, within scroll borders of raised white enamel on a primrose ground decorated with trellis and dot pattern in white.
