Summary

Public: Part dinner service made of cream coloured earthenware, comprising tureen, cover and stand, two dinner plates, and one serving plate containing two cooked hares. Private: Deep lozenge-shaped tureen on flared foot, two spiral twist handles with applied floral terminals. Relief-moulded feather-edged scroll borders round body and foot. Shallow domed cover with spiral twist loop handle (broken) and floral terminals, moulded feather-edged border to rim. Oval tureen stand with moulded feathered rim, two dinner plates with moulded anthemia and scalloped rims, and one large serving plate with feathered rim, containing two roast hares.
