Summary

Broad cylindrical posset pot, curving in to flat foot and out to flared lip, with visible throwing rings. Two simple loop handles to sides (one a restoration), between two applied reliefs in the form of handle strips crumpled to form flattened loops. Bowl decorated between handles with dark red and white slip-trailed and feathered rectangular panels. Neck above handles decorated with continuous border of three rows of dark red circles, each circle containing small white dot. Slip colours show dark brown and yellow through warm lead glaze.
