Summary

Pale blue damask silk, brocaded in gold and silver, black and green thread in floral design with trails. Skirt : Lined with pale blue and pale pink linen. Tying at back with back panel of linen. Silver lace at hem. Bodice : Lined with pale pink and white linen, pointed and boned centre front and back. Fastening at back with lacing. Sleeveless, open on shoulders with two ties of darker blue linen tape (traces of original tie of blue silk ribbon beneath) and two bows of blue silk ribbon on shoulders at front. Sleeves (2) : Lined with white linen and paper between. Open down side seam wtih four ties across, originally pale blue silk ribbon, most missing or replaced by darker blue tape.
