Summary

Red and purple striped silk with finer yellow and white stripes. Trimmed with brown silk piping. Lined with white cotton, skirt and sleeves with cream flannel interlining. Shallow V neck trimmed with bobbin lace (East Midlands). Sharply pointed waistline. Centre back fastening, rosette at waist. Long sleeves with fold and red braid above wrist, lace frill at edge. Skirt pleated to waist, red woollen braid at hem.
