Summary

Black silk satin teagown, figured with sprays of flowers, chiefly in orange and green. Bodice lined with striped white cotton satin. Inside section of orange corded silk. Front fastening with buttons. Standing collar centre front trimmed with white chiffon that falls to hem. Pink silk satin sash at centre front waist fastening on right. Sleeves with plain black silk satin upper section, half lined with black silk, large puff above elbow. V shaped gore from puff to elbow trimmed with buttons. Pair of ties inside back. Waistband printed 'Mrs Barnett, 22 Sloane Street, Belgravia SW'. Front inner skirt frill of pleated stiffened white muslin and lace.
