teapot
Summary
Globular teapot made of drab grey stoneware, with circular footring and white crabstock handle and spout. The body is decorated with sprigged white pipe clay ornaments comprising flower heads and budding stems in formalised arrangements on each side, with lathe-turned bands around neckrim. Flat circular cover of drab body with turned knop finial, pierced through centre, and sprigged scrolls and formalised flowerheads in white. Probably not matching cover, as relief decoration is different.
