Summary

Slip-cast wall pocket, in the form of a satyr's head crowned with ivy, surmounted by tall stem of architectural moulding flaring outwards at mouth into wide fan-shape. Moulded dolphin's head in centre surrounded by four stylised leaves and flanked by arabesque scrolling border. Plain undulating rim to mouth. Flat side on reverse with lobed rim and two holes pierced at the top for suspension.
