Summary

Globular teapot on circular flat foot, with short straight neck. Plain loop handle with outer spur at lower terminal, and two cut notches in thumb rest, short tapering spout of octagonal section. Two-part slip-cast body with low relief decoration on each side of scrolling flowering plants and fantastic birds. Shallow domed cover with flattened rim, relief-moulded fluting and central button finial.
