Summary
Teapot in the form of seated camel on oval base, with legs tucked in to side of body. Camel bears tall rectangular tower/howdah on its back, strapped around belly, sides of which are decorated in relief with indistinct figure busts. Scrollwork to shoulders and haunches of body. Open-mouthed head and neck forms spout, handle in the form of scaly dolphin with curled tail at lower terminal. Replacement cover in the form of square domed tower roof, terminating in squared tear finial, with small pierced hole to one side. Two part slip-cast white body, with black specks to glaze.
