Summary

Thrown globular punch pot on flat foot, with crabstock handle and spout, and slight collar at neck. Body painted in green, black, pink and yellow overglaze enamels on each side with sprays of primulas and roses, against a ground of black net pattern. Single primula stem with seven flowerheads, pink rose and small blue flower to left of handle, single pink rose and rosebud on leafy stem to right of handle. Handle and spout painted with irregular densely grouped black dots. Flattened circular cover with crabstock loop handle, painted with single primula stem with three flowerheads and budding pink rose against black net ground, the handle painted with densely grouped black dots.
