Public: Figure of a parrot, salt-glazed brown and white agate stoneware, with brown slip eyes and splashes of cobalt blue. Private: Hollow press-moulded figure of a parrot, perched on tall oval mound base, with its head turned slightly to the right. White salt-glazed stoneware, marbled with random streaks of brown, concentrated down parrot's back and around base. Eyes picked out with two spots of dark brown slip, beak and body with randomly scattered daubs of underglaze cobalt blue, bubbled and blistered through the salt-glaze.
