Summary

Public: Flattened globular teapot with relief-moulded spout and Chinese kylin finial, blue, brown and white agate earthenware with plain white slipped interior. Private: Flattened globular teapot, with short cylindrical neck, short tapering spout with indistinct relief moulding and tapering loop handle with spur at lower terminal. Finely marbled blue, brown and white earthenware body, giving even pattern of blue and brown streaks, colours bleeding into glaze. Handle predominantly plain white earthenware with streaks of blue and brown along one side. Interior washed with white slip. Heavy shallow domed cover with flattened rim and Chinese kylin finial, white earthenware with layer of blue, brown and white agate to upper surface.
