Summary

This is a view of a river, looking towards an arched bridge, and painted from the perspective of the bank just beneath it to the left of the painting. There is a small wooden jetty on the bank just beneath bridge with three figures on it, assembling something.There is high ground on opposite bank behind bridge, with castle and other buildings. The colour scheme of the painting is muted browns.
