Summary

Cupboard made of mahogany, ebony and sycamore on a stained pine carcase. Arched pediment, cornice inlaid with chevron bands in ebony and sycamore. The upper register, containing three sliding shelves is fronted by hinged door with side knob and hook fastening. The door is inlaid to resemble two doors, each with a diamond-shaped inlay panel. The lower register of three drawers each with diamond inlaid escutcheons and sycamore stringin. With turned bone drawer handles, shaped apron and four bracket feet. Bottom drawer has 10 linen samples used for place mats or tea towels.
