Summary

Public: Pear-shaped lidded milk jug with cauliflower moulding, cream coloured earthenware, lead glaze stained green for leaves around lower body and on handle. Private: Pear-shaped milk jug on straight footring, tapering to tall cylindrical neck with sparrow beak lip. Scroll loop handle in the form of three overlapping leaves with spurs at thumbrest, and above and below lower terminal. Cream coloured body moulded in relief with cauliflower florets around neck and with two rows of six overlapping textured leaves, curled at the tips, around lower body. Lead glaze coloured rich green on leaves and handle, reserving cream coloured cauliflower florets and interior. Shallow domed cream coloured cover with button finial, moulded with cauliflower florets.
