Public: Figure of a bull baited by a small dog, cream coloured earthenware, with mottled and streaked decoration of underglaze manganese brown, yellow and green oxides bleeding into lead glaze. Private: Two-part press-moulded earthenware figure of a tethered bull, standing on flat base with fluted sides, with tail curved in under legs and head turned to the left, lowered towards small dog on the ground. Cream coloured earthenware body sponged with patches of manganese brown, yellow and green underglaze lead oxides, colours bleeding into glaze to give mottled streaky effect.
