Summary

Public: Stirrup cup in the form of a satyr's head, white earthenware, decorated in brown, green and purple beneath a pearlware glaze. Private: Press-moulded stirrup cup in the form of a bearded satyr's head, with relief-moulded crown of grapes and vine leaves around forehead beneath everted rim. White earthenware, coloured with manganese brown to beard, yellow-green and manganese purple to leaves and fruit, and iron brown band to rim, beneath a pearlware glaze pooling blue in crevices.
