Summary

Public: Press-moulded wall pocket in the form of a cornucopia. Cream coloured earthenware body with a relief-moulded cartouche containing a half-length figure of Flora sponged with manganese brown, copper green and blue-grey underglaze oxides. Private: Press-moulded wall pocket in the form of a cornucopia, twisted narrow lower body curving round to the right. Broad fan-shaped upper body with central relief-moulded cartouche containing half-length figure of Flora, holding sprays of flowers in both hands, within Rococo C-scroll border. Scrolling foliage and acanthus surrounding cartouche, beneath undulating rim. Flat side on reverse with undulating rim and two holes pierced at the top for suspension. Cream coloured earthenware body sponged with manganese brown, copper green and blue-grey underglaze oxides, colours bleeding into glaze to give mottled brown and blue ground with green leaves, plain mottled brown on reverse side.
