Summary

Black aigrette feather 19cm high with a small number of glass beads glued on giving appearance of dew-drops. At base of feather, butterfly-shaped framework of stiffened black muslin, wired edge threaded with black beads. Silver-coloured sequins and clear glass beads attached to muslin with lozenge shapes of black celluloid forming 'wings'. Worn by donor upright on evening headdress.
