Summary

Public: Pear shaped puzzle jug with three lateral spouts beneath pierced openwork rim. Plain cream coloured earthenware. Private: Pear shaped puzzle jug on turned spreading foot, with flared rim pierced with openwork border of diamonds, spots and petals. Applied collar beneath pierced rim with three short lateral spouts at right angles. Hollow loop handle tapering to acanthus-moulded lower terminal, disguising continuation of handle inside jug, with scrolling upper terminal attached to neck collar. Pale cream coloured body with fine, slightly yellowish glaze.
