Deep blue green satin with sewn on green silk. Fringe at edge. Whalebone ribs with concealed ends. Metal stretchers. Frame in 8 sections. Satin sections curved at edge to form scallops. Ivory knob at top, incomplete. Wooden handle, hinged, the hinge held in place with metal band. Lower half of handle turned.
