Summary

Public: Two oval sweetmeat bowls and stands, with pierced openwork borders and applied twisted cord handles. Plain, cream coloured earthenware. Private: Oval sweetmeat bowl curving in to oval footring. Fluted border to lower body, surmounted by pierced openwork border comprising crescents, ovals, spots and arrows in formal arrangement. Two twisted cord loop handles with leafy terminals, applied at each end beneath rim. Oval stand with flat shallow well and flattened rim with raised edge. Pierced openwork border to rim of similar arrangement of crescents, ovals and spots. Pale cream coloured body with greenish glaze, body discoloured in bowl interiors.
