Silk woven with horizontal black satin bands alternating with bands of black and gold shot silk figured with gold squares. Metal ribs ending in knob. Metal stretchers. Frame in 12 sections. Pagoda shape. Spring inside point at top, above ribs. Wooden farrule carved with crook. Wooden handle with metal catch towards end to hold runner in place when closed. Gnarled end with round loop.
