Silver, lined with dark green watered silk. Two flat sections, tapering towards top, slightly concave side and top edges, hinged together at base. Front section with raised design of intertwined stems and two hanging floral sprays. Chain handle with central ring. Compartment in lining of each section. Containing mirror and comb. Central purse section fastening metal catch. Birmingham hall-mark.
