Summary

Public: Oval fruit basket, with pierced openwork sides and double intertwined handles. Plain cream coloured earthenware. Private: Oval fruit basket with flat base and steep sides flaring slightly towards rim, moulded with seven-fingered feather edge border. Sides decorated with crudely executed diamond pierced openwork surmounted by openwork border of small and larger circles, with beaded border around base. Two double intertwined twisted cord handles applied at rim with applied relief flowerheads to terminals above and below rim. Pale cream coloured body with fine bright yellow glaze.
