Summary

Pear-shaped milk jug on turned flared foot, with broad projecting lip, cut rim and double intertwined ribbed strap loop handle with flower-and-leaf terminals. Impressed beaded border to foot and shoulder. Exterior beneath lip painted in iron red enamel with vignette of young lady taking tea in a garden, seated at small table to left, flanked on either side by tall three-tiered trees, with three clouds overhead. Pale cream coloured body with fine greenish-yellow glaze.
