Summary

Public: Globular teapot with leaf-moulded handle and spout. Cream coloured earthenware, painted in red, pink, green, yellow, blue and black overglaze enamels with floral sprays. Private: Tall globular teapot on flat base, with leaf-moulded spout and handle, two outer spurs along handle with third at lower terminal. Sides painted in overglaze enamels with sprays of roses, daisies, violets and other flowers, surrounded by small scattered sprigs. Neck painted with border of overlapping circles in red. band. Shallow domed cover with pierced baluster finial, painted with two small sprigs and border of overlapping circles at rim. Pale cream coloured body with fine yellowish glaze.
