Summary
Child's dress. White cotton with openwork embroidery (broderie anglaise). Wide neck, piped and with narrow openwork embroidered trimming. Bodice front in three sections, tapering CF section with openwork embroidery, openwork embroidered frill each side seamed with featherstitching, passing over shoulder and round back of neck. Bodice back in one section each side of CB opening, fastening with drawstring at neck and waist. Very short sleeves formed of scalloped openwork, embroidered frill gathered to shoulder, armhole seams piped. Skirt in two striaght sections, worked all over with openwork embroidery. Wide scalloping at hem; closely gathered to bodice.
