Summary

Tall globular teapot on flat base, with leaf-moulded spout and handle, two outer spurs along handle with third at lower terminal. Sides painted in overglaze enamels with red and black scale ground, reserving circular medallions on each side. Medallions painted in black and red with repeated rural landscape comprising farm buildings with smoking chimney to left, trees to right. Handle and spout painted plain green. Shallow domed cover painted with continuing scale pattern, with pierced baluster finial painted green. Pale cream coloured body with fine yellowish glaze.
