Summary

Slip-cast stirrup cup in the form of a deer's head, with relief-moulded curly fringe to forehead, applied ears beneath moulded horns, and border of small impressed circles around rim. Cream coloured earthenware, decorated with wavy bands of cobalt blue to lower jaw and neck, green ears, brown snout and eyes, and daubed brown, blue and yellow head, colours bleeding into lead-glaze.
