Summary

Child's hat. Grey woollen cloth. Lined with black silk, quilted, in style of Scottish 'bonnet' crown in one boat-shaped section, folding down centre, each side in one section, seamed front and back. 2.5cm hem all round. Thistle ornament of dark gold coloured metal attached over fawn corded silk ribbon bow at left side. Silk ribbon with long hanging ends attached at back. See suite 1966.226/3.
