Summary

Child's hat. Plaited fawn straw trimmed with pink silk. Crown and brim of white buckram. Crown covered with pink silk, separte large straw crown edged with pleated silk ribbon caught down at intervals around crown. Outer edge of brim stiffened wire, covered plaited straw above and ruched silk underneath. Lining of cream silk with drawstrings at crown. Pink silk ribbon round junction of crown and brim crossing at back and slotted through holes in brim to tie in bow at centre back. Ribbon flowers (2 blue, 1 pink) with cloth leaves on left side front.
