Summary

Child's knickers. White corded cotton. Legs each in one section, open each side at waist, sewn to centre section back and front. Gathered to waistband back and front, buttonhole at each end and in centre of band back and front. Legs, below opening each side, trimmed with three buttons on narrow panel outlined in braid. Openwork embroidered frill (broderie anglaise) at bottom edge of legs. Material and trimming matching JACKET 1947.2032, with which it possibly forms a suit to which DRESS 1947.2135 may also belong.
