Summary
Dress with two bodices. Fawn silk. Bodice, lined with white cotton. Wide neckline, pleated at front, gathered to CF waist over lining. Back in one section each side of CB opening. Fastening with hooks and eyes. Short puffed sleeves over lining. Gathered to armhole and to lower edge, frill at edge. Neck and waist edge and armhole piped with white cotton. Neck and sleeve edges trimmed with lace. Bodice, wide neckline, front in three sections, tapering at CF and embroidered with floral design in white cotton worked in satin and stem stitch. Back in one section each side of CB opening with hooks and loops. Short sleeves in one section, frill, pleated to armhole. Embroidered and scalloped at edge. Neck, sleeve and straight waist edges, armhole and front seams, piped with white cotton. Neck and sleeves edged with scalloped openwork embroidery. Skirt, in one width and three straight sections, upper third white cotton, gathered to waistband, fastening with hook and eye at CB, two frills, headed white braid at hem. Overskirt in three widths, scalloped at edge and embroidered. Pleated to waistband, gathered at CB. Waist fastening with hook and eye on right. Pocket in front seam.
