Summary

Child's dress. Cream flannel in herringbone weave, lined white cotton. Trimmed with pale blue flannel. Fronts to low waist each in one section, extending to side back, fastening to round neck with flannel turn-down collar, lined wtih white muslin with hooks and loops. CB in four shaped sections. Skirt in two straight sections, pleated to low waist. Bodice extending inside below waist. Long sleeves in two sections, turnback cuff, flannel lined with muslin. Shoulder, armhole and back seams piped with flannel. Front each side of opening and waist, trimmed with broad blue flannel band, flannel edging at hem. Neck collar and edge of cuff trimmed with lace frill. All blue flannel except hem edge embroidered with lily-of-the-valley design in white and green wools worked in stem stitch.
