Summary

Child's dress. White muslin with vertical stripes and horizontal floral stripes machine embroidered in white cotton. Bodice front, lined with white twilled cotton, gathered at waist and onto yoke with point at centre. High standing collar. Open down CB fastening with hooks and eyelet holes. Bodice backs each in one section slightly gathered at neck and wiast. Frill of spotted muslin with openwork embroidery and edging round bottom of yoke and continuing over shoulders. Full sleeves to below elbow gathered at shoulder and at bottom into band. Two strips of muslin inside sleeve from armhole to band. Frill below band. Skirt in four straight sections with fairly deep hem and narrower tuck above (signs of another tuck having been let out). Gathered at wiast. Pocket in seam on right.
