Summary

Boy's dress. Wool with woven tartan, white background with grey stripes one way and coloured stripes the other way. Lined with white cotton. All sections, except yoke, cut on cross. Wide low neck, narrow yoke at front only edged with three rows of black velvet ribbon, rest of front in one section with single box-pleat from yoke forming two box-pleats at centre front waist. Back in one section each side of centre fastening with hooks and eyelet holes. Neck, waist and armholes piped with black wool. Short sleeves puffed onto close fitting lining. Ful skirt in three sections box-pleated to waist.
