Summary

Girl's dress. Knitted orange rayon. Bodice, skirt and sleeves in one section continuous over shoulders with horizontal slit for head edged with line of orange angora crochet and fastened two white buttons each side. Bodice knitted in stocking stitch with moss stitch border at neck an dopen-stitch motif at CF, neck. Short sleeves extended by 7cm band of open-stitch stitches picked up all round edge and six rows reverse stocking stitch. Row of holes all round waist threaded with orange rayon cord alternating with horizontal bands of eight rows of garter stitch and 27 rows of open stitch in fan-shaped motifs pulling garter stitch into wavy lines, six rows of reverse stocking stitch round hem.
