Girl's dress. Pale blue cotton. High round neck. Bodice front in two sections seamed CF. Back bodice in one section. Fastening at right shoulder seam with two metal press studs. Cut away armholes edged with band of self fabric. Skirt in two sections, seamed at sides, pleated to bodice at waist. With two horizontal tucks near hem, and marks of two previous tucks above. Neck edged with white cotton braid. CF bodice decorated with insertion of lace butterfly edged with grey/blue thread. Belt carrier at each side waist. Sailor collar: separate collar in same fabric; two layers forming large square cape collar with rounded corners, front ends extending as sashes to cross over at front, pass through belt carriers and tie centre back.
