Public: Circular plaque, stoneware, solid white jasper with dark blue dip and applied white relief portrait of Jean Sylvain Bailly. Private: Circular plaque with polished bevelled edges, and dark blue dip on front and back. White relief of right side profile, head and chest portrait of Jean Sylvain Bailly, wigged and wearing coat and cravat. Elaborate border of alternating anthemion and tulip motifs contained within narrow white lines. Circular gilt wooden frame.
