Plums
Jadwiga Luyten-Behnisch 28 Jan 1873 - 30 Jul 1963
Summary
A still life with a brass pot and plums amidst a leafy bower. Flowers and leaves frame the composition with plums, which is painted in an impressionistic style with emphasis on the intense colouration of each section. The plums are scattered around the high-walled bowl upon a reflective green surface, reminiscent of water.
