Summary

White cotton. Wide legs, open over hips and fastening with linen buttons each side of waist. Drawstring at back waist tying centre back. Insertion of bobbin lace on each leg from just below hip slanting down to inner leg. Embroidered below with rows of 4-petalled openwork flowers alternating with double rows of circles. Legs edged with openwork embroidered insertion threaded with pink satin ribbon and edged with bobbin lace (torchon).
