Summary

Crown of fancy wholestraw plait, 1 end natural to 3 ends dark blue. Brim of alternate lines blue/natural wholestraw plait. Lined with black plain weave silk. Tall sugar-loaf crown, wired at edge and faced with navy velvet, flat at front, turned up at centre and left side back. Narrow section of draped navy gauze crossing crown from left of centre front. Treated fabric poppies at left of crown.
