Summary

Doll dressed as Quaker. Stuffed kid body, china arms and head, brown hair, blue glass eyes. Dress: black and white twilled silk with long fitting sleeves and separate skirt, worn with triangular cream silk tippet and square cream silk shawl, folded diagonally. Bonnet: Quaker style, fawn-grey satin lined with white satin, worn over net cap. Underwear: white cotton pocket (eighteenth century shape), petticoat, chemise and drawers. Stockings: white cotton, knitted. Shoes: bronze kid, silver buckles in front.
