Summary
Cream wool. Hand and cuff in very thick double stitch, elasticated at wrist with ribbing, cuff flaring above wrist. Belonged to Heather Firbank (1888-1954), the daughter of the affluent MP, Sir Thomas Firbank. This garment came to the Gallery via the Victoria and Albert Museum, which has many others of her dresses.
